Contrary to popular belief, nails can be successfully rooted in concrete; however, it does require a few steps to make it happen. Start by drilling a cavity larger than the nail into the concrete before inserting the nail into the hole gently with the aid of a hammer. Depending on the depth and tolerance of the concrete, you may need to apply additional pressure when pounding in the nail until it's secure and steady. After  2 plastic cap nails , it should stay securely in place.
